TYPOGRAPHY - FINAL PROJECT 14.06.2019 - 28.06.19 Joseph (0336620) Typography Final Project - Expression, Hierachy and Composition INTRODUCTION FINAL PROJECT 14.06.2019 - 28.06.2019 (Week 11- Week 13) For this project in particular which is my worst nightmare, we are required to design a poster with the requirements being that we have to use as little graphic element as possible and more on the typography. The theme being that we have to use a powerful social message as a quote or a short phrase and express that quote. For my phrase, I chose "Break the Silence" for my quote. So I chose this quote because I had a fight with my friend from class and we fought because he never talked about his problem to me, so the phrase is inspired by that. Typography - Project 2 Week 8 - Week 10 Joseph (0336620) Typography Project 2 - Font Design LECTURE Lecture 8 (Week 8) We weren't given any lecture. We were given time to digitize our fonts. Lecture 9 (Week 9) For this week we were given lectures on paragraph and learned about different terms in a paragraph, such as a pilcrow. INSTRUCTIONS EXERCISE  For this project we were required to design a font (hence the name of the project). We were required to design a font with the reference of the 9 typeface that Mr. Vinod and Mr. Shamsul provided . For my reference I chose Univers LT STD 55 Roman. WEEK 7 Before we started designing we were asked to dissect the letters from the font or typeface that we chose. Typography - Project 1 10/05/19 (Week 6) Typography Project 1 Joseph (0336620) INSTRUCTIONS Exercises WEEK 6 I was absent. But I did a few while I was absent, although my first work was completely wrong, meaning that I didn't meet the requirements, I did another one. Fig 1 Project 1 (First Attempt) This was immediately turned down by Mr. Shamsul because it was completely wrong, so I was supposed to create a layout and use first things first as a headline.
